Each Discovery Flight begins with a free Pre-Flight Briefing, covering topics such as helicopter controls and their flight characteristics, pre-flight inspections and helicopter components.

You will experience the life of a helicopter pilot first-hand: engine starting and rotor engagement, radio communications, airport operations, flight maneuvers (including take-offs, landings, hovering, level flight and others depending on the type of Discovery Flight you choose) and shutdown procedures.

Following your flight is the Post-Flight Briefing, which allows time to ask your instructor questions about the flight.
